Below is a letter from Linda Berg, CFA Animal Welfare Chair, in response to a person who without proof or further investigation, had actually believed the false allegations on Ms. Zizzo's web site and contacted Ms. Berg.

Dear Ann
"Melanie Lowry has been investigated completely and more than once. She is >being harrassed by a woman out in cyberspace named Rosemarie Zizzo who has been permanently suspended from CFA. She has made it her life's goal to go after people now that she feels she was wrongly accused. She has been putting up false websites and pretending to be Melanie. She has also started a website which she uses to to cause problems for people. I will check the website you gave me but I would guess it is another one of R. Zizzo's."

As stated in Linda Berg's letter above, Ms. Zizzo has also made false complaints to various government authorities and has sent Animal Control to my home on more than one occasion.

Below is a copy of a report sent to Ms. Zizzo, at her request, as to Animal Control's findings upon inspecting my home one of the numerous times she made a complaint to either animal control or code enforcement. How did she know the report existed? Because she made the complaint.

Yes, The North County Dept. Of Animal Control went on site on January 28, 2004. The observed a total of 15 cats inside of the residence. Per Animal Control Lt. Mary Galliardo there were in good health and no humane issues. I have sent a notice advising the property owners the need to have the required Major Use permit for more than 6 cats. That is pending until the end of the month, for them to respond, correct the violations or be cited.
